TSPT has a staff of experienced occupational and certified hand therapists (CHTs) who specialize in hand and upper extremity therapy as well as fabricating custom-made splints. Hand therapy services are often prescribed for the treatment of a variety of conditions and injuries from the hand to the shoulder (upper extremity). Common conditions for therapy treatment include: tennis and golfers elbow; sprains/strains and fractures of the wrist and fingers; and some chronic shoulder problems. Hand therapy is frequently used to help alleviate pain, reduce swelling and increase range of motion after surgery for post-operative conditions of the elbow, wrist and hand. For the surgical or non-surgical treatment of a hand or upper-extremity injury, TSPT's Hand Therapy staff provides the full range of treatment options, state of the art equipment, advanced therapy techniques and a variety of custom-made splints for its patients.
