Insurance participation

Tri-State Orthopaedics and Tri-State Physical Therapy participate with most major health insurance programs. We are in-network with both Highmark and UPMC Health Plan β€” one of the only independent orthopaedic practices in Pittsburgh that accepts both. We also participate with Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Humana, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and most other area plans.

Billing and payments

We submit claims to your insurance carrier directly and coordinate with you on any out-of-pocket costs, including deductibles, co-pays, co-insurances, and non-covered services. Payment for out-of-pocket or non-covered services is due at time of visit.

We accept cash, personal check, debit card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Flexible payment plans are available for larger out-of-pocket expenses.

Pay your bill online securely through Health iPass. Billing hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.
